Pepcidtwo
How To Treat Acid Indigestion
Traditionally there have been three types of treatment to relieve heartburn and indigestion:
Antacids
  • Antacids: Usually these are available as tablets. Antacids neutralise the excess acid in your stomach. Whilst antacids provide rapid relief, they have a limited duration of action, and sometimes more than one tablet may be required to achieve a longer lasting effect.

Acid balancers
  • Acid balancers: These are usually available as tablets. They help reduce the amount of acid produced in the stomach to bring it back to a normal level. Acid balancers provide a long lasting effect - which can last for up to 12 hours, however they do not work as quickly as antacids.

Rafting agents
  • Rafting agents: These are usually taken as liquids. They form a 'raft' by sitting on top of the acid, and so prevents the acid from escaping into the oesophagus. Rafting agents provide a longer lasting relief than antacids however sometimes the 'raft effect' can become less effective when lying down.
Pepcidtwo
Pepcidtwo is a new generation of antacid that is different because it combines an antacid AND acid balancer. This means that you not only benefit from the fast action relief provided by an antacid for immediate pain relief but also the long-lasting action of an acid balancer for all day or all night relief making it a smart alternative to existing remedies.

Antacid and Acid Balancer

What's more all this is provided within just one, easy to take, pleasant tasting, minty chewable tablet so treating indigestion and heartburn couldn't be simpler.
